Bill, a scientist, cellist and artist, has honed the craft of oil painting by apprenticing with premier artists of Bucks county, Pennsylvania. Myron Barnstone refined Bill’s drawing skills while teaching elements of composition and application of the “Golden section” passed down by the Masters. Color theory and linear perspective were learned from Dot Bunn and Patrick Connors, respectively. Understanding the use of “light” which breathes life, excitement and dimension into the canvas, was realized with tutelage by Frank Arcuri. Learnings from each of these esteemed artists are evident in Bill’s current work.
